Wes Craven talks Scream 5
You will see a Scream 5 based on director Wes Craven, despite a disappointing box office performance for Scream 4."Yes. The possibilities that you will see [a Scream 5]. It's something which Bob Weinstein really wants to do. He has a tendency to do what he really wants to do. And So I am inclined to consider that you will see [another follow up]. Whether I'll take part in it or otherwise? I'm not sure. My contract provides me with the very first look. When they show me something that's really wonderful? Obviously I'll take part in it," Craven told Movieweb. The director also confirmed that Scream 4 was said to be the start of a brand new trilogy for that franchise: "Starting [Scream 4], the very first meeting I'd with Kevin Williamson he did sketch out a Scream 5 and 6. The concept was that people used to do the very first inside a new trilogy. We needed to wait to ascertain if we made enough cash on each film to create the next viable. In the event that happens, individuals two will develop the concepts as well as an idea that's worth fulfilling."The same is true the finish of Scream 4 indicate in which the fifth film goes?InchI would need to kill you basically said. It's better with an ending in which you can't tell where it is going to go next than with an ending in which you go, 'Oh, that's the hook for that follow up. That's the hook for the following one.' We felt it had been easier to allow the audience speculate rather than have many of these clues put into their lap. It isn't dependent on not wise enough. We are clever only at that, let us just place it this way,Inch he stated.

The X Factor Week 2 Recap: The Idol judges Play Mean
La, Calif. -- The X Factor ended its audition models phase on Thursday evening, tugging in probably the most original talent from the competition to date both good and positively awful. Within the spirit of saving the very best for last, well run lower the worst first, which needed to function as the idol judges behavior. Sure, Clarissa Cheatham, a 27-year-old office clerk, who passes the nickname Cashmere, was awful as she gave a tone hard of hearing rendition of Continually Be My Baby by Mariah Carey, but Simon Cowell was worse. Clarissas smile faded when Simon, before 1000's, couldnt control his laughing because he informed her, Cashmere, whenever you stated that individuals screamed after [you carried out] karaoke, I dont believe that would be a compliment, giving the sense he was poking fun at her. More brutal than Clarissa getting the wind removed of her sails was L.A. Reid telling Emily, one-1 / 2 of teenage Glee-esque group (think Rachel and Kurt) Ausem, that only her partner Austin would be a star. No disrespect, L.A. started as Emilys face dropped, but I am not convinced from the duo. Fortunately, Simon lobbied on their behalf, plus they got through. For the great stuff, there is plenty, starting with a pint-sized teen having a heck of lots of attitude John Bradley. The small guy, just 14, hit happens, demanding in the rap the listener, stop searching inside my mother! You're arrogant, obnoxious, argumentative, however, you are among the most gifted youthful people Ive heard inside a lengthy, very long time, Simon stated. L.A., however, had much, much loftier praise. I did previously run this label known as Def Jam, and all sorts of time which i was there' was searching for only you never walked in, so Im the luckiest guy on the planet that you simply walked into my existence today, he stated. Tora Woloshin, 21, hit happens searching just like a mixture of Rhianna and Kat Von D, however when she opened up her mouth to sing The Jackson Fives I Really Want You Back she rocked the amount by helping cover their a rock grit to her large, poppy voice. Theres something in regards to you, the moment you go out, Simon talked. Thats why this show is known as The X Factor its not only a voice, its another thing and i believe you may be really special. Pretty-on-the-eyes Brennin Search, 26, from Nashville, Tenn., appeared as if one, but he wasnt only a good looks, carrying out an authentic song The Way We Allow It To Be and simply sailing with the idol judges election. Jazzlyn Little was scared when she hit happens, and may barely respond when Simon requested her a quick question like her age 16 however when the background music came on (Mary J. Bliges Im Heading Down), she was nowhere near to a shy young girl. Paula Abdul and Nicole hugged one another in disbelief and L.A. wondered aloud where her large seem originated from. Using the auditions over, The X Factor will return using its boot camping round next Wednesday at 8/7 C on FOX. Copyright 2011 by NBC Universal, Corporation. The Ides Of March's Evan Rachel Wood talks sex scams
The Ides Of MarchactressEvan Rachel Wood thinks that skeletons in political figures closets should not be rattled and shook through the media which sex scams are "natural". "Among the best lines within the movie is, 'You can begin a war, you are able to bankrupt a rustic however, you can't sit using the interns.' This is the wake-up call. We make this type of large deal about these sex scams, that are really probably the most natural things on the planet and everybody has skeletons within their closet also it really should not matter whatsoever. I'd rather not know. People can perform what you want with themselves and that is fine. It's nothing related to how you conduct yourself at the job," Wood stated. She also says the cast from the political thriller were built with a blast shooting the film which was all because of director George Clooney."They are various different but I like dealing with company directors who're stars since you speak exactly the same language. That's a primary reason George am amazing - he understood what to tell get what he wanted. And that he ensured everybody was getting a lot of fun. I believe they know when your cast and crew are pleased then you are getting great work. That's really really rare. But that is why I loved dealing with him," Wood stated. So when it found prep she did not go all method and spend time with political campaign staff, depending on information hands selected by Clooney rather."George gave us lots of material and documentaries to look at which was more behind the curtain around the campaign trails using the press and also the interns to ensure that was my distance to that world," she stated.

Kevin Winter/Getty Images For Entertainment WeeklyPatty Jenkins Patty Jenkins is careful analysis direct Thor 2 for Marvel Galleries. No discussions have started but Jenkins, who directed the 2003 Charlize Theron movie Monster and lately the pilot for AMC's acclaimed crime show The Killing, vied with other company directors for that gig, and today will end up the very first lady director in Marvel Galleries' stable of helmers. MovieMantz Review: Drive
By Scott MantzLOS ANGELES, Calif. -- Drivers License to Kill DriveRyan Gosling, Carey MulliganDirected by Nicolas Winding Refn With the exception of 2004s The Notebook, Ryan Gosling has, in the last decade, tended to shy away from heartthrob-style roles in favor of non-conventional films like 2006s gritty Half Nelson (for which he earned an Oscar nomination), 2007s offbeat Lars and the Real Girl and last years intensely raw Blue Valentine. But if 2011 goes down as the year in which Gosling really broke through to mainstream moviegoers thanks to his revelatory comic turn in Crazy. Stupid. Love. his career is about to shift into high gear with his perfectly understated performance in Drive. As a stunt driver by day who moonlights as a getaway driver by night, Gosling exudes a cool charisma that recalls younger versions of Steve McQueen (from Bullitt) and Robert de Niro (from Taxi Driver). But theres much more under the hood of this atmospheric slice of LA film noir, which saw its director, Nicolas Winding Refn, deservedly win Best Director at the Cannes Film Festival back in May. What starts off as an unusual romance between Goslings shy driver and his troubled neighbor (Carey Mulligan) takes a sharp detour about halfway through, resulting in a brilliant work of art thats bold, daring and unpredictable. Its also stylish and very violent to the point where viewers may feel inclined to compare Drive to the likes of Quentin Tarantino. But seeing as how Tarantinos strength lies with dialogue and seeing as how sparse the dialogue is in Hossein Aminis screenplay (which is based on the book by James Sallis) the film is much closer to the likes of David Cronenberg, whose history of violence is more sparing, but no less grisly. Drive also has one of the most distinct and unforgettable soundtracks of any movie in recent years. The score composed by Cliff Martinez brings to mind Tangerine Dreams score for 1983s Risky Business, while some of the songs (particularly A Real Hero) also add to the 80s vibe that permeates the entire film. Goslings intense performance is supported by equally strong turns from Mulligan and Oscar Isaac (who plays the ex-con father to Mulligans young boy). Bryan Cranston and Ron Perlman are also effective as the shady low-lifes who find work for Goslings driver, but the standout turn in Drive belongs to Albert Brooks a revelation as a former film producer-turned-violent crime boss. Drive left such an immense and lasting impression on me that I simply couldnt wait to see it again. This is one mighty cool movie, and its bound to stand the test of time as a classic of its genre. So if youre looking for a rewarding cinematic experience that will stay with you long after the house lights come up, then the odds are that youll get a lot of mileage out of Drive. Verdict: SEE IT! Tom Hardy's Bane may have a voice box at nighttime Dark night Increases
Tom Hardy's Bane will seem more frightening than Scream's Ghostface killer when the latest Dark Dark night Increases set reviews should be thought. The actor looks like it's utilizing a voice box to manage the pitch and tone of Bane's villainous vocals.Regardless of the original rumour source being The Sun's Rays - the hallowed tome that when reported Eddie Murphy playing the Riddler in Batman 3 as fact - that one appears fairly realistic.Bane's voice must be intimidating, to complement Bale's intense delivery of Batman's lines, because the figures are meant to be equals within the terror stakes. So we are likely to chalk that one lower like a very realistic rumour. In the end, ifChristian Bale and Tom Sturdy are generally doing gravelly voices only using their vocal guitar chords, the development crew would need to double the amount throat-sweet budget. That may go to billions. But let us face the facts, even when both of them seemed like Alvin from Alvin & The Chipmunks: The Threequel, we'd be in front from the queue once the Dark Dark night Increases is launched on 20 This summer, as we are confident it will likely be probably the most awesome factor ever.

Five Reasons 'Warrior' May Be The Next Must-See Movie
While using summer season movie season formally wrapped, you are prepared to turn our filmgoing focus toward the generally more inviting fall fare. The initial from the season's must-see movies is "Warrior" starring Tom Sturdy, Joel Edgerton and Nick Nolte, directed by Gavin O'Connor ("Miracle"). This film is about several things: recognition, duty, love, family, but mainly it is the story of two brothers and sisters beaten lower by misfortune and demons, who when playing few other options, enter a mma tournament using the expectation of getting a chance to fulfill promises made to their loved ones people. And O'Connor, who also co-written the film, attracted no punches (pun intended) in submitting audiences for the intense, gritty arena of MMA. Have a look at five main reasons why this film is important-see following a jump. It'll Change The Way You Consider MMA Fighting I realize nothing about MMA, nor am i going to like watching it, nevertheless the strategies by which O'Connor woven it into and around the story, you come away by getting an awareness and appreciation for your artistic elements mixed up in sport. For Tom Sturdy, Celebrity Inside The Making People who've seen Sturdy in "Bronson," happen to understand a look in the British actor's crazy talent. From his swagger to his stare to his silence, Hardy's intensity since the damaged, estranged brother and boy Tommy is unnerving. In addition to his total bad-assery just like a take-no-crooks fighter inside the cage. It's the way he plays the subtle, nuanced cracks inside the character's hardened exterior that really achieve you, however. Grown Men're Reduced To Tears Essentially haven't already made a decision to get this to point apparent, a warm and fuzzy movie, "Warrior" is not. This is an almost nonstop, adrenaline-fueled assault inside your feelings, every one of those, which explains why people of audiences will probably be gone after tears. (I saw no less than two males dabbing at their eyes and sniffing at at simply because they walked in the two tests I attended - yes, I desired to see it two occasions.) Now when was the ultimate time you learned about a film that moved grown males to tears? Bear Witness To Nick Nolte's Soon-To-Be-Nominated Performance I am unable to consider a film through which Nolte has completed a finer performance. And frankly, who thought he'd any greatness left in him? Not me. But wowza. Nolte just knocks it in the park since the broken and dejected formerly alcoholic father to Sturdy and Edgerton's figures. There is a particular scene so devastating that whenever it carried out out onscreen I immediately thought, 'I will probably be seeing it may in clip form come honours season.' The Unconventional Ending No spoilers here, I promise, however when you are in a position to the climax from the film, you're feeling as if you were using a fight yourself. Even if you believe you understand what's coming. And you also won't, the beautiful factor. Roger Ebert written that "This is often a rare fight movie through which we shouldn't see either fighter lose," which he's completely correct (See: "Grown Guy Are Reduced To Tears" formerly pointed out). "Warrior" is at theaters today, September 9. Are you currently prone to see "Warrior?" Reveal inside the comments or on Twitter!

One For The Money Poster Online
Katherine Heigl goes bounty huntingEven though the last time she dipped her toes in the waters of action comedy we got the nightmare that was Killers, that hasn't put Katherine Heigl off the idea of combining laughs with beating people up. For her next stab at the genre blend, she's at least got a solid foundation in Janet Evanovich's numerical pun-obsessed Stephanie Plum books, with the first, One for the Money, on the way. Now the poster is online, and can be viewed below. To see the full-size poster over at Moviefone, click the pic above. Money finds Heigl as Plum, a lingerie buyer who has hit some serious financial troubles after losing her job. With her car snatched by debt collectors, Plum turns to her sleazy cousin for help, convincing him to give her a job at his bail-bonding company tracking down wayward criminals. She's not exactly born to the task - she's never handled a gun and doesn't own a pair of handcuffs, but Stephanie gives it her all. Trouble is, her first case not only involves chasing down the charming Joe Morelli (Jason O'Mara), the bloke who broke her heart in high school, but also meddling family members, a potentially murderous boxer and the little matter of witnesses who keep dying on her. Heigl will have to go some to convince audiences she can do more than play the rom-com card, and given that Evanovich created a compelling and wildly popular character, she'll also be judged by how well she embodies the unlikely bounty hunter. One for the Money is out on January 27 in the States, but doesn't seem to have a solid release date for the UK yet.

How Many Bottles of Booze Appear on the New Poster for 'The Rum Diary'?
On the East Coast at least, beer o'clock has arrived. (Pause here for cartoon-y hiccup.) That means it's the perfect time to spy the new poster for 'The Rum Diary' -- especially since said poster is composed of an enormous amount of minibar bottles. Just how many bottles make up the marketing for Johnny Depp's latest attempt at adapting Hunter S. Thompson for the big screen? That's where you come in! Without counting (too easy!), see if you can guess how many tiny bottles compose the poster for 'The Rum Diary.' Carny rules apply; winners receive the knowledge that they won. If you guessed 50 bottles, you're right! Feel free to bend an elbow in celebration of your victory. (Don't celebrate if you counted the bottles; you know who you are.) CWs Head Of Business Affairs To Exit
EXCLUSIVE: CW’s head of business affairs Rich Vokulich is exiting the broadcast network after 4 years. He is expected to leave this week. It is unclear whether Vokulich will be replaced. CW’s new president Mark Pedowitz, who took over in May, has the reputation of one of the top business affairs executives in the TV industry. He started his career in business affairs, raising to head of business affairs for ABC and its sister studio before taking over ABC Studios as president. Additionally, CW’s COO John Maatta, to whom Vokulich reported, also has legal background. Before joining CW in 2007 in his current position, Vokulich served as an executive consultant for CBS TV Studios (the CBS Par Network TV) and EVP at Fox TV Studios from 1999 to 2005. Graham Keen...Got the Part
The actor's traditional good-luck phrase, "Break a leg," might have been taken too literally by 23-year-old dancer Graham Keen back in March. He was auditioning to be part of the dance ensemble for NETworks' national touring production of "Young Frankenstein" after seeing the casting notice on BackStage.com."They were looking for tall dancers, and I'm 6-foot-2," he says, "so it was a good match for me." Keen, an Actors' Equity membership candidate who has been dancing since age 7 and began his professional career in college, admits that this particular audition "was an uphill battle all the way." During the first tap combination, his shoe started to fall apart. Once that problem was solved, an even bigger one presented itself: At the end of a ballet combination, Keen landed the wrong way, fracturing the fifth metatarsal in his left foot."I don't know exactly how it happened," he says, "but I have a history of falling at really inopportune moments. My initial response was to get up and do it again. I just felt like this is a show and a job that I knew I could get, and I didn't want anything to get in my way."Keen didn't know the severity of his injury at the time and proceeded with the vocal portion of the audition, assuring everyone that he was fine. "They asked me if I was okay and then told me to come back on Thursday with my tap shoes," he says. "And I thought to myself, 'Oh, my God,' because I could barely walk on my foot. Everyone was going to remember me as the kid that fell the first day."However, casting director Bob Cline had a different impression after Keen's audition. "I don't even remember that, to be honest," Cline says. "I think he was doing a great job regardless of that, and such a good job that you notice right away in the room. When you're watching 300 people a day, you don't always remember that one person. But I do remember Graham, and he did great." Out of about 450 dancers who auditioned, Keen landed a spot in the 12-person ensemble. Rehearsals for the tour begin in September.Keen had decided to audition for "Young Frankenstein" while on hiatus from NETworks' national tour of "The Music Man," in which he was an ensemble dancer and an understudy for the barbershop quartet. He had only a weeklong break from that show, which toured the country from January to May."It was my only chance to really audition for anything," Keen says. Fortunately for him, he chose to audition for a touring musical that was produced and cast by the same personnel who had hired him for "The Music Man." Cline had seen Keen in the audition room before and had faith that he would do well on tour again."I cast him for 'The Music Man,' and I know the company that did that sure loved him," the casting director says. "I can always be in his corner and speak highly of him, which is great in this business." Has Back Stage helped you get cast in the past year? We'd love to tell your story. Be in the weekly column by emailing casting@backstage.com for New York or bswcasting@backstage.com for Los Angeles with "I Got the Part" in the subject line.
